Too Early

At 8:30 pm, it’s still 91°?

We normally don’t get this kind of crap weather until August.

I’m guessing you’re on the east coast. A couple weeks ago, here in L.A. I went to an outdoor festival and the temp that day was 103. However, we don’t get the humidity like you do. The worst of it here is that our apartment has AC only in the bedroom. That means on a day where the temps are in the 90′s, so is our apartment!
Hang in there. You’re not alone :)
Sadly, we (Texas) get that kind in December and January. Then the next day it ices over. Go figure.
Scott: I’ve been in the DFW area for both hundred degree heat and ice storms. Fortunately, NOT in the same trip. :-)
Tamara: I lived in Riverside for a few years, which I guess is now considered the Los Angeles area, and I remember some of those hundred degree days without AC. Out in that area, however, we also got the humidity. I guess in the summer everyone gets to suffer. I was just hoping the season around here would wait a few more weeks. :-)
