importing information from a spreadsheet
GoLive can take information you have in a spreadsheet and bring it into a table in your page.
- In the spreadsheet application, save the file as a tab delimited file (sometimes also called a DIF file).
- Insert a table into your page (or select an existing one). The size of the table doesn’t matter since GoLive will make the table fit the data.
- Bring up the Table Inspector and click on the Import... button at the bottom next to Tab-Text. Find and open the tab delimited spreadsheet file. The data will be placed automatically into rows and columns and the table will expand as necessary to accomodate the data.
