I have to miss NECC this year :-(. The National Educational Computing Conference is the largest and best conference on instructional technology – and it’s a lot of fun too. The sessions are excellent, of course, but it’s the people you meet in the halls, hotels, exhibit area, and receptions that really make it a great event. And a great place to pick up ideas.
This year a lot of those ideas will be posted to the web in near real time. Tim Lauer who publishes the Education/Technology blog is organizing a multi-author blog to post impressions of the sessions, exhibits, receptions and other parts of the conference (“maybe even a Mariners’ game”). Tim is also leading a birds of a feather session on blogging at NECC so look for the session if you’re in Seattle at the end of the month.
