EduBloggerCon – First Reflection

Today has been an amazing one, being able to spend all day in face-to-face conversations with many of the people I’ve read and learned from for years.

Occasionally I’ve had online discussions with some of them through comments and extensions of each others posts but it’s been a unique pleasure to actually talk in person.

The Crowd

Those smiling faces above are almost all of the assembled group. If you attended the session and want the full-sized version, click through and grab it from my flickr collection.

Steve Hargadon deserves much credit for doing the lion’s share of organization for this event. But I’m sure he would be the first to agree that the real value came from the mix of people and ideas.

If you weren’t able to attend, visit the wiki and click through the links to find the notes and reflections of many of us.

All in all, a great day. And NECC hasn’t even officially started.

  1. I’m so sorry to have missed this, but I’m here now, and hoping to meet you and some of the bloggers I read daily, now that I made it to Atlanta!

    Thanks for summarizing the sessions!

My blog is temporarily down, (edublogs is having a major meltdown at the moment), so I’m using tumblr–www.technolibrary.tumblr.com.

I was so disappointed to miss yesterday so it’s great to be able to read summaries of what went on.
