More evidence that it really is Google’s world and we’re just living in it. Here’s yet another application based on data pulled up by their search tools, this time a game that can be very addictive
Guess the Google presents you with a matrix of twenty images drawn from a single word search. Your task is to identify that word in less than 20 seconds. You can make as many guesses as time will allow and then you get points for choosing the correct word and for any time left on the clock.
The best I was able to do was a pretty pathetic 59. Which I did NOT choose to save!
The game is based on a neat little project called Montage-a-Google. In this case you enter a keyword and the site generates a 9×12 matrix based on the first 20 pictures found. Click on any one of them to visit the site from which the picture came.
Two very cool ways to waste some time on the web and make it look like research. :-)
