It Depends on Who You Ask

According to a remarkable survey by a publication called Marketing Daily, 80% of all Americans know what a blog is.

Other interesting results claims that 44.7% of those over 65 have visited a blog and almost 60% of men and half of women regularly “surf a variety of blogs”.

I don’t know about you but those numbers seem rather fishy to me. Until, that is, you understand how the respondents were selected.

The polling company “conducted the online survey of 1,000 U.S. adults”.

Now THAT makes sense. It’s actually 80% of the people willing to take an online survey who know what a blog is.
