Early tomorrow we are off for a little family time somewhere on the Illinois side of St. Louis. That area’s not home – it’s just the current stop for a brother-in-law in the Air Force and a holiday gathering point for a small part of the family. For me, St. Louis has always been a place to pass through on the way to somewhere else so now I get to see some of what I was ignoring missing.
I have no idea if I’ll have decent connectivity or the time to use it for the next week, so posts here will probably be few at best. Which is fine, since I have plenty of non-work related projects (not to mention a stack of unread books) to fill the time waiting for a large group, including four under-10 years olds, to figure out the logistics of each day. Even when traveling, time during winter break seems to slow down a little – and that is definitely a good thing. I hope you are also enjoying some of that slower pace.
Hey Tim,
Have a safe trip. Merry Chirstmas and all that. I really enjoy reading your weblog. I always find something of interest. Hope we can meet up at NECC again.
Best Wishes and Happy New Year,
Tim Lauer
