With all the tabloid-obsessed talking heads channels on American television, sometimes it’s necessary to go overseas for some actual news. Like this little piece from the BBC on a secret intellegence report by our own government which offers three possible scenarios for what might happen in Iraq by the end of 2005. Unfortunately, none of them have happy endings.
While W and friends continue with their claims that all is going according to plan, at least this member of the administration gets it right.
But National Security Council spokesman Sean McCormack told the newspaper the Iraqi people often defied predictions.
That’s another piece of intellegence the administration seemed to miss prior to invading the country.
