They didn’t get the memo that our all-powerful Congress had decreed that “daylight savings” time would end a few weeks later than the date encoded in their old programming.
Another example of why computers are not intelligent; they only do what they’re told.
However, “daylight savings” itself is a pretty stupid concept, supposedly conceived by smart humans.
