This past July some international foundation announced a list of the new 7 Wonders of the World, selected through the “first ever global election”. has now posted some excellent full-screen 360° VR pictures of each location.

This technology isn’t quite as gee-whizzy as when we first started playing with it ten years ago but some of these VRs are quite spectacular.

However, the perspective in some of the pictures taken with the “one-shot” VR devices isn’t quite right (see the Colosseum), although that’s probably the only way to do it when you have hordes of tourists in the shot.

But the ad placed in the middle of the Taj Mahal is downright weird.
