A new update to OS X presented itself yesterday and was installed on my Mac Book Pro. As with most of these, it was hard to figure exactly how things had improved but there’s usually some new security patches.
However, upon closer inspection, there’s one new feature that will become indispensable.
As on other laptops, I can set the track pad so that tapping it will duplicate a left click. Unlike others, dragging two fingers across the track pad acts like rolling a mouse scroll wheel.
Since the update, if I tap with two fingers on the pad, it acts like a right click.
