Every year the Library of Congress selects a small group of films to be added to the National Film Registry.
These are motion pictures that some blue-ribbon panel of experts believes are “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant”.
This years list includes three of the funniest movies ever made: Blazing Saddles, Fargo, and Groundhog Day.
There’s something comforting in knowing our national library is preserving the humor of Mel Brooks, Harold Ramis, and the Cohn Brothers for future generations.
I heard some of the additions to the list tonight on the news. I must say I agree with the majority…especially Fargo and Blazing Saddles.
Fargo! Blazing Saddles! YESSSSSSS!!!!!
