The Vidiots at say that they watch TV so we don’t have to. In the case of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade I really appreciate their efforts – but maybe I missed something this year. It seems that during the festivities some cheerleading group performed a musical tribute to America using Springsteen’s "Born In The USA" and the Guess Who’s "American Woman" as accompaniment. Considering the not-so-patriotic lyrics of those songs, Phillip Michaels wonders whether the folks choosing the music were just clueless or if this was some kind of subversive comment. My cynical little mind would like to think someone was making a statement but in this case I vote for clueless.
