I admit it – I’m a little strange. Around our house the traditional Thanksgiving dinner is a big mess of enchiladas and guacamole. And my favorite Thanksgiving story is one that Arlo Guthrie told me (and millions of others) when I was in college. I doubt anyone will ever call me a sentimental fool. :-)
Still, I appreciate Thanksgiving more than any other holiday since it’s nice to come to a complete stop once in a while and consider everything I have to be thankful for. Beyond being thankful for good health, material comforts and friends, I appreciate being able to express my opinion, learn from others, and openly discuss ideas without censorship. We need to work to make sure that doesn’t change.
Thanks for visiting.
