If you’ve ever wanted to attend Yale but didn’t have the cash, now’s your chance.

Someone left the school of music a gift of $100 million, which will now allow them to pay the $23,750 annual tuition for every student, all 200 of them.

Of course, you’d better be a damn good musician and stand out in other ways. The number of applications for next fall has already doubled.

It’s nice to read some good news about arts education in this country – even if it applies to only a tiny number of kids.
