The Pew Internet and American Life project has been out asking teenagers about their experiences online.
Just over half of the “online” teens have created a personal profile at a social networking site, not surprisingly the vast majority of them at MySpace.
And almost half of those kids using a social networking site visit one or more times a day.
However, the statistic in the study I found most interesting is that two-thirds of them say that they limit access to their profile to friends and/or family.
Maybe most of our students are a little more web savvy than we’ve given them credit for.
